v0.2.5 (Keys and RPGs)


This is a smaller update then the last few beasts. I found an issue with the old key system and the new Tear System. It was possible to take Key Fragments between levels, thereby messing up both levels in the process. After some serious renovations to the Key system, now Key Fragments are tied to the levels you find them on, and ONLY the levels you find them on. This should make the Keys pretty bulletproof from level issues from now on. 

In addition I finally upgrade the Tool system (used for Swords, Food, and Grenades) to now handle "Handheld" items. These are going to be purpose built items which function like guns. For the first "Handheld", I added an RPG. This is, as the name implies, a Rocket Propelled Grenade. It has all of the power of a grenade, but aiming is super easy. I found it be to EXCEPTIONALLY POWERFUL for taking out turrets. In fact, it's kinda TOO easy. As such, you are only getting one shot. Use it and throw it away. They spawn rarely in Case Drops and can also be purchased from certain Data Merchants for a large sum of Data. 

In the future I hope to use this "Handheld" system for adding all sorts of purpose built devices, like scanners, beam lasers, cluster bomb launchers, and any other wacky thing that isn't quite a Gun.
